Misty Creek Farmhouse
Perched on a gentle knoll and surrounded by lush hinterland, Misty Creek Farmhouse is home to a family running an agroforestry business on the land below. Studio Isaza was brought in to breathe life back into a home left a little kitch and impractical after an early 2000’s renovation—reintroducing charm, character, and warmth in spades.
With a client who leans toward playful, maximalist style, we embraced the opportunity to infuse the space with whimsy and wonder, while grounding it in thoughtful, enduring finishes. What began as a consulting role during construction quickly evolved into deeper involvement—reimagining key spaces to ensure they reflected the heart and spirit of the homeowner.
The result is a home that feels joyful, layered and uniquely personal—a place where elegance meets practicality, and where the family can truly unwind after a day on the farm.
“The end result is more than I could have hoped for - deeply personal, beautifully finished, and a true reflection of our style. I’m so grateful for her talent and would recommend her wholeheartedly.”

“Working with Jana on our kitchen and bathroom renovation was such a rewarding experience. From the start, she understood my love of bold, high-end design and brought a clear, creative vision that made the process not only smooth, but genuinely collaborative.
We had so much fun dreaming up spaces that feel elevated, playful, and uniquely ours. Our shared passion for beautiful finishes and thoughtful details made every meeting something I looked forward to. Jana has a rare talent for balancing creativity with practicality, and her guidance helped turn big ideas into spaces that are both striking and functional.
The end result is more than I could have hoped for - deeply personal, beautifully finished, and a true reflection of our style. I’m so grateful for her talent and would recommend her wholeheartedly.”
